The reasons that we choose and recommend this restaurant for our first post are, firstly, we are all from China so we like to eat and cook Chinese food most of the time, Secondly this restaurant is not like the typical Chinese restaurants, the signature foods inside we guarantee that we don't have it in China because most of the dishes cooking method and use of the ingredients are created by Kylie Kwong. For people who don't know Kylie Kwong, she is a figure that well known as a chef, restaurateur, television presenter and author. She believes that food choices should be ethical, sustainable and supportive of both natural and human environment, therefore her style of cooking is all about emphasising simplicity, fresh ingredients and clean flavours and she loves to use herbs and leaves as ingredients for food. Lastly, the foods in Billy Kwong actually taste nice and Service was average, the waiter was friendly.

The restaurant located Sydney’s in the main street of Surry Hills, inside of the restaurant are little dark, mood lighting and when you are outside of the restaurant I’m sure that you won't be able to tell that it's a Chinese restaurant until you have saw the name “家常便饭”.

Recommend dish that we have taste:
  •          Beef brisket rolls, because it was creative and delicious.
  •          Prawn dumplings for entree, the dumpling and the broth were individually nice, however, the dumpling didn't get enough time to soak the favour of the broth. But you still can have a taste of it, since you may feel is good.
  •         Duck leg in orange and plum sauce with a zucchini flower and green stir fry side, the duck leg is a little bit sweet as I don't eat sweets, and the stir fry side are pretty fresh and crisps and not oily.
